Intern Introduction: Shaimur

By Shaimur Rahman

My name is Shamiur and I am currently a senior at Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. I have a passion for math and computers, which led me to believe I want to become a software engineer. The way computers –or all technologies–worked, fascinated me. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and working after school. Through the WLG program in my school, I was able to join Premier Chess.

I enjoy playing chess. One of my favorite things about it is that it is all  about strategy. Playing the game allows me to try and think of every possible outcome as quick as possible. This kind of fast thinking will help me in the future in scenarios such as last-minute thinking.

  1. Interesting tips on how to help children cope with disappointment! By the way, if you are thinking about creating a more peaceful environment in your home, especially in children’s playrooms or study areas, installing reflective film on windows can significantly improve the situation. Sites such as TintFit [Link deleted]offer high-quality options that reduce glare, control sunlight, and make rooms more comfortable, which indirectly helps children stay focused and feel less frustrated. The perfect choice for those looking for ways to regulate heat, privacy, and add a touch of elegance to their space.
