My name is Adeola Adeyinka, and I am currently interning at Premier Chess. I attend the City College of New York, where I am entering my second year as a biology major. As fascinating as biology is, my hobbies tend to gravitate away from STEM topics as a way to maintain balance. I am known to be an avid reader and have transformed this hobby into a club at my schoo. When I am not reading, I find myself watching movies or roller-skating.
Prior to this opportunity, I would often engage in volunteer opportunities around my community or near my school. Giving back has always been a core value of mine if it meant I could uplift just one other person. Working at Premier Chess is another chance to serve and connect with like-minded individuals who want to leave the world better than they found it.
While I am a novice in the field of chess, this internship provides room for growth, both conceptually and professionally.
