I am originally from Florida but moved to New York around the age of nine. I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated from high school two years ago now and am attending Colorado College. I am studying to receive my bachelor’s in Anthropology and then attend grad school to receive a master’s in Forensic Anthropology. With this degree, I hope to become a Forensic Anthropologist and help as many people as I can.
Chess has always been one of my favorite things to do. I was a part of a tech club when I was in middle school, which somedays played chess. After that moment chess seemed to follow me everywhere. I have a seven-year-old cousin who is obsessed with chess so we always play together when we can. He started to even give me lessons in strategy because I only know the basics of chess. However, seeing him be so happy to play chess at such a young age really makes me want to show kids that chess is fun. It does not have to be competitive chess it can be fun chess too.
