Manhattan Instructor Lindsay Kornguth is an alum of the Berkley Chess School, where she learned with National Master Evan Rabin's Brandeis classmate Grandmaster Sam Shankland and Hans Niemann, who recently beat World Champion Magnus Carlsen. Her career higlights include a Girls' California State Champion title, and placing on the US Chess top 60 players nationwide by age and gender.
She founded her high school's chess club and served as president for 4 years. She is now senior at Columbia University, studying Computer Science attending chess club meetings.
