Steve Segarnick

Our Team

Brooklyn Instructor Steve Segarnick is a former New York City Department of Education Special Education Teacher. He has taught math and chess in middle and high schools for over 30 years. He played on the Brooklyn College Chess team in the late 1980s. Since working full-time, he has taught chess in variety of schools and yeshivas.

His chess career highlight was tying for sixth place in 1994 World Open U-1600 section.
