Our Team

Downtown and Jersey City Instructor Robert Chen, frequently known as "Master Wu" has been playing and teaching chess in New York for 30+ years. He has known CEO National Master Evan Rabin since Evan was a teenager. Some of his playing highlights include tying for 3rd place in the 2019 Manhattan Classical Chess Championship U-1700 section, placing in 2nd place in the Marshall Chess Club G/45 tournament in April 2017, and tying for 2nd place in the 18th Annual Northeast Open U-1650 section.

We are lucky to have him on the team to teach school programs and private lessons in Downtown Manhattan and Jersey City.
