Avery Church

Hudson County Instructor Avery Church got passionate about chess during his time getting a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

His favorite thing about chess is that it teaches us how to be more calculated. He has experience playing in a league run by our 57th Podcast Guest Bruce Davis, President of the Lehigh Valley Chess Assocation. He has a 1460 rapid rating on chess.com.

We are lucky to have him on board to teach school programs and private lessons in Hudson County.
