Spring 2021 Youth Beginner Class in Rego Park, Queens
Who: All Children Ages 5-10
Where: Work & Tot, 96-18 63rd Dr 3rd floor, Rego Park, NY 11374
When: Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, May 6- June 24
Why:
-Students will learn/freshen up on the rules of chess, learn basic strategy and get ready to compete in tournaments, virtually and in person.
-Students will get a chance to meet kids from other schools and socialize.
-We will follow CDC Covid-19 protocols, limiting class to 12 students, requiring masks for instructor(s) and students and sanitizing the equipment.
-We will maintain a 8-1 student teacher ratio; if more than 8 kids register, we will hire an assistant.
-Work and Tot can also offer 1- hour pass to the co-working space and amenities for $8 should a parent decide to stay and work while their child is enrolled in class.
