Vanita Young

Our Team

Philadelphia Instructor Vanita Young has been teaching chess at the perennial National Championship school Masterman and several other Philadelphia schools for many years. In 2011, she won a $40,000 chess scholarship to Texas Tech University through the Susan Polgar Girls Invitational. In 2015, she and CEO Evan Rabin won clear 1st place Mixed Dobules at the Philadelphia Open. She tied for 3rd place in the Class B section in the 2018 Philadelphia Open. We are lucky to have her teaching school programs and private lessons.
