New Jersey Instructor National Expert Titoluwanimi Rapheal has been teaching chess for almost 10 years in his native country Nigeria, where our 43d Podcast Guest National Master Kola Adayemi grew up. He is rated 1892 FIDE. Some of his playing highlights include winning second place in the U-2100 section at the 2023 New State Chess Championship, tying for first place in the U-2000 category at the 2023 Kenya Chess Open, and winning 1st place in the National Junior (U20) Chess Championship in Nigeria in 2019.
Titoluwanimi has a Bachelor of Education - BEd, Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from the University of Port Harcourt and has taught at many schools and camps. He has the official title of School Instructor from FIDE.
