Director of Tournament Programming
International Master Raven Sturt has played in tournaments since being on the perennial National Championship winning PS 116 team as an 8-year old. He made National Master at the age of 15 and captured the titles of FIDE Master and Senior Master at 17. He is the 2010 National 12th Grade Champion and a member of the 2011 All-American team. He graduated from McGill University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. Raven made International Master, the second highest title you can get in chess, in 2017. He serves as an Assistant Manager of the World Famous Marshall Chess Club in Greenwich Village. In the last 5 years, he has coached championship teams and directed tournaments for Avenues, PS 116 and other schools.
